Zum Anlass von «50 Jahre Frauenstimmrecht» machen wir einen 2-wöchigen Ausflug nach Genf, Dort starten wir in ein interdisziplinäres, auf französisch verfasstes Projekt rund um das Thema Frauen.
«Belästigung im öffentlichen Raum». Dies ist ein Thema welches in meinen Augen nicht genügend berücksichtigt wird. Wie oft werden Frauen in der Genfer Altstadt belästigt? Wo werden sie «angemacht»? Mit welchen Worten geschieht dies? Diese Fragen stelle ich 80 Frauen in der Genfer Altstadt. Acht von ihnen können und wollen mir diese Fragen beatworten. Im vorliegenden Zeitungsausschnitt sind die acht Orte abgebildet, an denen diese Belästigungen stattgefunden haben und immer noch stattfinden. Die Orte sind jeweils gezeichnet und die Fotos stellen dar, was die Frauen in diesem Moment sahen, sodass man sich in ihre Haut versetzen kann. Auch die Gedanken der Frauen und die ursprünglichen Aussagen der Männer sind Teil der verschiedenen Darstellungen.
To celebrate «50 years of women’s suffrage» we are going on a 2-week excursion to Geneva, where we will start an interdisciplinary project on the topic of women, written in French.
I am dealing with the topic of «harassment in public spaces». This is a topic which, in my opinion, is not sufficiently taken into account. How often are women harassed in Geneva’s old town? Where are they «hit on»? What words are used? I asked these questions to 80 women in the old town of Geneva. Eight of them were able and willing to answer these questions. This newspaper clipping shows the eight places where these harassments have taken place and are still taking place. The places are drawn in each case and the photos depict what the women saw at that moment, so you can put yourself in their shoes. The women’s thoughts and the men’s original statements are also part of the various depictions.
À l’occasion des «50 ans du droit de vote des femmes», nous faisons un voyage de deux semaines à Genève, où nous commençons un projet interdisciplinaire autour du thème des femmes, rédigé en français.
Je traite le sujet «Harcèlement de rue». C’est un thème qui, à mon avis, n’est pas suffisamment pris en compte. Combien de fois les femmes sont-elles harcelées dans la vieille ville de Genève ? Où se font-elles «draguer»? Avec quels mots cela se produit-il ? Je pose ces questions à 80 femmes dans la vieille ville de Genève. Huit d’entre elles peuvent et veulent répondre à ces questions. Dans la présente coupure du journal, les huit endroits où ces harcèlements ont eu lieu et continuent de se produire sont représentés. Les lieux sont dessinés et les photos représentent ce que les femmes ont vu à ce moment-là, de sorte que l’on peut se mettre dans leur peau. Les pensées des femmes et les déclarations initiales des hommes font également partie des différentes représentations.
